Our EKOBENTIK method is recommended by the Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management as well as by regional water-management authorities.

Vattenresurs participates in research projects together with Stockholm University and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Among other things, we participate in a research project about restoring sea bays along the coast of the Baltic Sea. From 2023 to 2025, Vattenresurs has participated with SLU in an EU-funded research programme on restoration of nutrient-rich (eutrophic) lakes in the Baltic countries.

We also cooperate with the non-profit organization Race for the Baltic within the project “Underwater restoration,” where our method effectively contributes to reducing nutrient loads in the Baltic Sea.
