High-precision precipitation of aluminium salt into sediments 

The Ekobentik method developed by Vattenresurs is unique because the aluminium salt is added directly to lake sediments. We do this by means of tubes that are lowered into the sediment from our specially designed vessels (barges, or so-called “läggare”). Most of the phosphorus occurs in the sediments, so this is where the treatment is most effective.
