Aluminum – a natural mineral

When the aluminium salt is mixed with lake water and precipitated into the lake sediment, it forms a natural aluminium mineral with characteristics that enable it to bind to phosphorus.

The aluminium salt, Ekoflock 96, is also used in water treatment plants to purify our drinking water and in sewage treatment facilities to clean sewage effluent before it is released to our watercourses.
